Corporate Violations Aplenty as Hazards Are Ignored

March 5, 2011

Within this piece you will see many well known corporations who have been fined for serious violations of the law. One, is Georgia-Pacific, owned by Koch Industries, the Koch Brothers who are now involved in Wisconsin’s fight for workers rights. Coincidental? Hardly.

Feb 15, 2011 from the Georgia-Pacific website:
A recently released study, conducted by Harrah Analytics, shows that Koch companies employ or support the jobs of more than 203,000 people nationwide.

Koch companies, which include Georgia-Pacific, Koch Industries, Flint Hills Resources and INVISTA, directly employ more than 50,000 people in 46 states and the District of Columbia. The companies also buy goods and services from local businesses, and their employees spend paychecks for food, shelter, entertainment and more. This combined spending generates more than 150,000 additional jobs, according to the study.
