It is one-fifteen PST. I am searching the major news outlets for today’s multi-state solidarity protests for unions and I am finding very little news. That is highly suspicious. Where is the live video? I am searching YouTube, Yahoo, MSNBC, CNN. I believe we are seeing a news blackout in America.

CNN was using Reuters headline: Big Union Protests Planned in Wisconsin, nationwide.

Here is what Reuters reported today:
Thousands of people rallied in cities across the United States on Saturday against a Wisconsin plan to curb the power of public sector unions that has sparked similar government efforts in other states.

Protesters see the proposals as an effort to weaken the labor movement. Other states considering similar proposals include Ohio, Tennessee, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa and Kansas.

“We all support the people in Wisconsin and all over the country where labor is being threatened, and we know that the real agenda of the (Wisconsin) governor and many others is just to destroy unions,” said New Yorker Judith Barbanel.

5 am – April 29th, 2011…. I think another, more deliberate news blackout has begun. I live in Greenwood, Indiana. My cable provider is COMCAST, owner of MSNBC. We have had strong wind and rain throughout the day. At 1:15 am, MSNBC suddenly went blank. It is still blank. What makes this suspicious is that every other channel, including On-Demand, is working just fine. Also, this just happens to coincide with the President’s news conference concerning the release of a certain document, and some very strong, very un-apologetic rhetoric from Lawrence O’Donnell and Ed Schultz.

I think Comcast is up to something. Please help spread the word…..
