G2 Class Geomagnetic Storm Hits Earth, Volcano Erupts in Chile, 5.2 Earthquake Near Guam

This is what’s being reported over the last few hours. Three major Earth events.

Space Weather reports: GEOMAGNETIC STORM: A sharp gust of solar wind hit Earth’s magnetic field at approximately 20:30 UT on June 4th. The impact sparked an intensifying G2-class geomagnetic storm, in progress. High-latitude sky watchers in both hemispheres should be alert for auroras.

(Reuters) – A volcano dormant for decades erupted in south-central Chile on Saturday, belching an ash cloud more than 6 miles high that blew over the Andes and carpeted a popular ski resort in neighboring Argentina.

e’s chain of about 2,000 volcanoes is the world’s second largest after Indonesia. Some 50 to 60 are on record as having erupted, and 500 are potentially active.
